We are glad to have your children with us for the After-School program! For now, we are open from 3PM to 6PM Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we are able to serve dinner at 5PM with the help of local churches. On those days, we stay open until 7 PM.

We follow the School Holiday Calendar for school closings, but are open during in-service days, but the school buses are not running. Your child can ride the Hancock County School Bus to the Weirton Christian Center. We offer transportation if they need a ride a home, unless the weather prohibits safe travel. They will need to have a transportation permission form on file in order to be transported in our vans.

Each child is given a copy of the rules he/she is expected to follow while at the Weirton Christian Center, or during any activity of the center – on or off location. Our policy states that any child who breaks the rules, or shows disrespect will be put on a list. After 3 incidences and warnings, that child will be sent home for 3 days. The second time this happens, they will be asked to stay home for 5 days. Before returning to the Center, they will need to write a paragraph letting us know they understood why they were sent home, and also they will be giving applicable Bible Scriptures to write and turn in.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call the Center at 304-748-2353.

Please return the Yellow Emergency Information Card to us as soon as possible. And please remember to update us if any of your contact information changes.
